Sony WF-1000XM5 Earbuds

The WF-1000XM5 are the earbud version of Sony's flagship, and they are noticeably smaller than the previous generation, which fixes the main complaint about fit. Noise cancellation is class-leading for something this size, and the sound is detailed with well-controlled bass. Battery is around eight hours in the buds. The touch controls are easy to trigger accidentally when adjusting fit. Best for commuters who want serious cancellation without over-ear bulk, and who value sound quality over the convenience of an open design.
