Sennheiser HD 660S2 Open-Back Headphones

An open-back wired reference pair for listening at a desk. The open design means everyone nearby hears what you hear and you hear them — these are for a quiet room, not an office. In exchange you get a soundstage and a sense of space that no closed or wireless design reproduces. Sub-bass extension is much improved over the original HD 660S. They need a headphone amplifier to perform properly; a laptop jack will not drive them well. For serious home listening and mixing.
