Panasonic Lumix S5 II

Panasonic finally adopted phase-detect autofocus with this generation, which removed the one serious objection to the S-series for video work. What remains is a camera with excellent internal recording options, no recording limits, a fan for genuine long-form shooting, and strong stabilisation. Stills performance is very good if not class-leading. For documentary, interview and event videographers, exceptional value against Sony and Canon equivalents.
