MSI Katana 15

The Katana 15 is entry-level gaming hardware without pretence. You get a current-generation RTX GPU, a 144Hz full-HD panel and a cooling system that keeps the chips within spec, wrapped in a plastic body that weighs 2.25 kg. The keyboard has a number pad and red backlighting. The display is the obvious cost saving — fine for gaming, unremarkable for colour work. Memory and storage are both upgradable. Reasonable value if frame rate per pound is the priority and you accept a machine that lives mostly on a desk.
