Dell XPS 16 (9650)

The XPS 16 is Dell's answer to the 16-inch MacBook Pro, and it competes on display and GPU rather than efficiency. The 16.3-inch OLED option is superb for grading, and the RTX configurations handle 3D and CUDA workloads the Apple machines cannot touch. The trade is battery life and heat: expect fan noise under load and roughly half the unplugged endurance of an equivalent Air. At 2.2 kg with a large charger, treat it as portable rather than mobile. The right pick if your toolchain is Windows-only and GPU-bound.
