Crucial P3 Plus NVMe SSD

A budget PCIe 4.0 drive using QLC flash, which is the compromise that makes the price possible. Read speeds are strong and everyday responsiveness is fine, but sustained writes fall away sharply once the cache fills — copying a hundred gigabytes at once will slow noticeably. Perfectly good as a games or media drive where files are written once and read many times. Not the drive for video scratch work or constant large writes.
