WD My Passport Portable HDD

A traditional spinning external drive, and the reason to buy one is cost per terabyte — several times cheaper than SSD for bulk archive storage. It is slow, it is vulnerable to being dropped while running, and it makes a faint noise. For backups, photo archives and anything you write once and read rarely, none of that matters. Password protection with hardware encryption is included. Buy an SSD for working files and this for the archive.
