Netgear Nighthawk RS700S Router

A Wi-Fi 7 router with a 10Gbps internet port, aimed at homes with multi-gigabit fibre where a gigabit-limited router becomes the bottleneck. The tower design is more discreet than the spider-like routers of previous generations. Performance at range is strong. Netgear's app pushes subscription upsells persistently, and some security features expire. Good hardware; budget for the fact that the useful extras are not included forever.
