Microsoft Surface Laptop 7 (13.8")

The Surface Laptop 7 is the tidiest Windows ultraportable: a 13.8-inch 3:2 touchscreen, an excellent keyboard, and an Arm chip that delivers long battery life and silent operation. The 3:2 aspect ratio is genuinely better for documents than 16:9. Two USB-C, one USB-A and the Surface Connect port cover most needs. Arm compatibility has improved a great deal but remains the thing to verify against your own software before committing a fleet. For email, writing and meetings it is close to ideal.
