Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga Gen 9

The X1 Yoga is the X1 Carbon with a 360-degree hinge and a pen silo, aimed at people who annotate documents or sketch in meetings. The aluminium chassis is slightly heavier than the Carbon's carbon fibre at 1.4 kg, which is the price of the hinge mechanism. Tablet mode is genuinely usable for reading and markup, less so for extended drawing. The included pen charges in its slot, so it is never flat when you need it. Choose it over the Carbon only if you will actually use the hinge; otherwise you are carrying weight for nothing.
