LaCie Rugged Mini SSD

The orange rubber bumper is the recognisable part, and it is not decoration: this drive is rated for a three-metre drop and survives being run over by a car. Speeds are quick over USB 3.2 and the enclosure is compact. Rescue data recovery service is included for three years. You pay a premium for the ruggedisation over an equivalent bare SSD. Worth it for field work, documentary crews and anyone whose bag gets thrown into vehicles.
