HHKB Professional Hybrid Type-S

A cult keyboard among programmers, using Topre electrostatic capacitive switches that feel unlike any mechanical switch — smooth, damped and consistent. The layout is deliberately minimal: no function row, no arrow keys, Control where Caps Lock normally sits. That layout is either the reason to buy it or the reason not to. Silenced sliders make it very quiet. Expensive, small and idiosyncratic, with a devoted following among people who type all day.
