Canon EOS R8

The lightest full-frame body Canon makes, using the sensor and autofocus from a far more expensive camera in a compact, affordable package. Subject detection covers people, animals and vehicles and is genuinely reliable. The compromises are visible: no in-body stabilisation, a single card slot and a small battery, so carry spares. For travel and portrait work where weight matters and you can live without redundancy, remarkable value.
