Audio-Technica ATH-M50x Studio Headphones

A studio standard for over a decade, and still the default recommendation for monitoring on a budget. The closed back isolates well enough for tracking, the sound is detailed with a slight treble emphasis that makes editing easier, and the cable is detachable in three lengths. They clamp firmly, which is good for staying put and less good after three hours. No wireless, no cancellation — this is a working tool. Excellent for recording, editing and critical listening.
