Apple Magic Keyboard with Touch ID

The Touch ID sensor is the reason to buy this over any other Mac keyboard — unlocking, authorising installations and confirming payments with a fingerprint removes dozens of password prompts a week. The scissor mechanism is shallow with a crisp bottom-out; it divides opinion but is precise once familiar. It charges over USB-C and lasts about a month. Touch ID only works with Apple-silicon Macs. Minimal, well-built and unusually convenient in daily use.
